MAMOK – YOUR STUDENT UNION

Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences student union (MAMOK) was founded 8th of May 1997 by the students´ clubs of that time. MAMOK works not only as a service organisation for its members, but also as an ideological controlling body, which observes the welfare of the students. The student union represents the students of Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences.

The MAMOK Student Union is a statutory body for the students of Mikkeli University of  Applied Sciences to indulge their interest in educational policy and social policy issues. In addition, MAMOK organises a variety of events and relaxing leisuretime activities. Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences listens to its students’ voice and appreciates your opinion. To make your voice heard, MAMOK nominates its influential representatives to all joint committees of Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences. You can be one of them.

MAMOK works on all the campuses of the Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences and has sub-unions in Savonlinna, Pieksämäki and Mikkeli. MAMOK is a member of the National Union of Finnish Polytechnic Students SAMOK that has a membership of 29 student unions throughout Finland.
